FEDERAL COURT MAY CHANGE HOME NURSING RULES, BUT AT WHAT COST?

(WHAS11) -- A recent federal court ruling could force nursing homes in Indiana to balance the rights of patients to choose their own care against the civil rights of nursing home employees. Some nursing home policies allow patients to choose the race of their caregivers and the 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that the policy violates civil rights.
