ADCARE ACQUIRES NURSING FACILITY

SPRINGFIELD — A local nursing home management company has officially purchased Eaglewood Village Care Center for $12.5 million.AdCare Health Systems started in Springfield in 1988, but as of 2006 has focused on acquiring nursing homes in other states such as Georgia and Alabama. The purchase of Eaglewood ?Dec. 30 is the first purchase in Springfield in years.
